I love drawing and painting but I confess, it's a struggle. How I wish it would flow easily from an idea in my head, from a glimpse of something beautiful, to a perfect representation of all that I feel onto paper or canvas. When I see the beautiful work of the artists I admire, I feel with total conviction that painting is what I am meant to do ..yet, when it comes actually doing it, my despair at not achieving what I want makes me quit. Yet the very process of quitting stops me from gaining the expertise that I want, I need... How do I overcome this block? I am still working on it..tell me if you have found a way!!
